not exactly exciting news, but just an FYI:
  I have CM2 compiling under netbeans6.01 IDE with Cygwin compiler.  No probs. it was rather easy import into netbeans.

That's pretty good news.  I'm compiling it under Cygwin, myself,
these days, as that winds up being much more convenient.

I think we're still looking for people to try it under OSX, Amiga,
and other more obscure development platforms.  There's not
been much progress on that front.

my Mac is in storage (we're moving to Bradenton atm).

When I set it up again in about 2 weeks, I'll try OSX. I've already seen it run great under FreeBSD, so OSX should be the same.
